Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (dark preferred)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create a seasoning rub.
  4. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the spice mixture.
  5. Grill the ribs bone-side down for about 1 to 1.5 hours, basting with BBQ sauce occasionally until caramelized.
  6. During the last 15 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce to achieve a glossy finish.
  7. Allow the ribs to rest for 10 minutes before slicing for maximum tenderness.
