Berry Tartlets are a delightful dessert combining a flaky pastry shell with creamy filling and fresh berries, making them the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted cold butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Create the pastry dough by mixing flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  2. Chill the dough for 30 minutes in plastic wrap to prevent shrinkage.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out chilled dough to 1/8 inch thick and cut into circles.
  4. Press circles into muffin tins, bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, then cool completely.
  5. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. Fill cooled pastry shells with whipped cream and top with fresh berries.
