- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Prepare the Bread:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Place the bread cubes in the dish evenly.
- Make the Custard:
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, cream, pumpkin purée, brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine and Bake:
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, pressing gently to ensure the bread soaks up the liquid.
- Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Serve:
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Add toppings like whipped cream or caramel sauce for extra decadence.
