Ingredients

  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll puff pastry sheets to about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide and wrap around cream horn molds, overlapping slightly.
  3. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Cool slightly before removing from molds and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. In a bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fill cooled pastry shells with whipped cream using a piping bag and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
