Description

Easter Poke Cake is a colorful, flavorful dessert that captures the essence of spring celebrations. Bursting with vibrant layers and creamy topping, it’s sure to impress your guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water (or milk for richness)
  • 1 package (3 oz) gelatin powder (any color)
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix, water, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once cooled slightly, poke holes across the cake surface with a fork.
  5. In separate bowls, dissolve gelatin powder in boiling water and pour evenly over the holes in the cake.
  6. Chill completely before spreading whipped topping on top. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles before serving.
