- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Meat:
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
- Combine with Sauce:
- Add marinara sauce to the cooked meat and stir to combine.
- Layer in the Crockpot:
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.
- Spread a dollop of ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat Layers:
- Continue layering sauce, ravioli, ricotta, and cheeses until all ingredients are used, ending with a generous layer of mozzarella on top.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve:
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
Notes
- For added veggies, layer in spinach or sautéed mushrooms.
- Use spicy Italian sausage for an extra kick of flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
