Description

This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a simple and hearty recipe featuring layers of cheesy ravioli, rich marinara sauce, and melty cheese. A perfect set-it-and-forget-it meal for busy days!

 


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Meat:
    • In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  2. Combine with Sauce:
    • Add marinara sauce to the cooked meat and stir to combine.
  3. Layer in the Crockpot:
    • Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.
    • Spread a dollop of ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
    • Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Repeat Layers:
    • Continue layering sauce, ravioli, ricotta, and cheeses until all ingredients are used, ending with a generous layer of mozzarella on top.
  5. Cook:
    • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • For added veggies, layer in spinach or sautéed mushrooms.
  • Use spicy Italian sausage for an extra kick of flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
