  • 2 tsp hot sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup honey (preferably raw)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tbsp sriracha (or any hot sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken in the mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Fry the chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F).
  5. In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice over low heat until slightly thickened.
  6. Remove fried chicken from the oil and drizzle with hot honey glaze while warm.
