  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Rinse artichokes under cool water and trim the top inch and sharp tips from the leaves.
  2. Steam artichokes in a pot with a steamer basket for about 30 minutes until tender.
  3. While steaming, melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper into the garlic butter.
  5. Preheat grill to medium heat; slice steamed artichokes in half lengthwise and brush with olive oil.
  6. Grill cut-side down for 5-7 minutes until charred.
  7. Drizzle garlic butter over warm artichokes before serving.
