Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine halved cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice; let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the chilled pie crust on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut out circles (around 4 inches in diameter).
- Place one dough circle into each muffin tin cup, fill with about 1 tablespoon of cherry mixture, and top with another dough circle. Crimp the edges to seal.
- Brush tops with egg wash and cut slits for steam release.
