Description

Italian sliders are a delightful fusion of savory Italian flavors, perfect for any occasion. Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and crumbled.
  3. Slice slider buns in half horizontally. Spread pesto sauce on the bottom halves and layer with cooked sausage.
  4. Add provolone cheese slices and roasted red peppers on top.
  5. Replace the tops of the buns, brush with olive oil, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
