Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar mixture (1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp ground cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and active dry yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center; add the yeast mixture and beaten eggs.

  5. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry each donut for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before coating in cinnamon sugar.
