  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the yeast mixture.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and slightly tacky.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. For the filling, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a small bowl.
  6. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick) and spread the filling evenly over it.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for about 30 minutes before baking at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
