- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder and flour. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for moist crumbs.
- While the brownies cool, beat powdered sugar, softened butter, peppermint extract, and green food coloring until smooth for the frosting.
- Once brownies are completely cool, spread the frosting over the top and cut into squares.
