Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and steep 4 black tea bags for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in sugar or honey while the tea is warm until dissolved.
  3. Add sliced peaches and basil leaves; gently muddle to release flavors.
  4. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. Before serving, stir in lemon juice. Pour over ice cubes and garnish with extra peach slices or basil.
