Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: Rinse salmon fillets and pat dry; peel and devein shrimp.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat with melted butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Add shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper; cook until pink (3-4 minutes).
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet, season, and cook undisturbed until golden brown (5-6 minutes).
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish, simmer for another 2-3 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving hot alongside rice or veggies.
