Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Rinse and hull the strawberries, slicing them in half.
  2. Blend the strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and water; stir until dissolved to create a syrup.
  4. Mix the syrup into the strawberry blend along with a pinch of salt.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Pour into an ice cream maker or shallow dish; freeze until firm (about 3-4 hours if using a dish).
