  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Β½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and let cool.
  2. While the pasta cooks, fry the bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until crispy (6-8 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
  3. Chop the tomatoes and lettuce while the pasta cools. Thinly slice the green onions.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, chopped veggies, crumbled bacon, and dressing. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
