  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or a mix of your favorites)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for topping)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil; stir until combined into shaggy dough.
  3. Knead by hand for about 5 minutes until smooth; cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to about half an inch thick; cut into strips.
  5. Place strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese and seasonings.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
