Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients without overmixing. Gently fold in the peanut butter.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Press down slightly on each ball.
