Description

Coconut Mango Sago is a tropical dessert that combines chewy sago pearls, rich coconut milk, and sweet, ripe mango for a refreshing treat. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 1 can (400ml) full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse sago pearls under cold water until clear. Boil 3 cups of water in a pot and add the pearls. Cook until translucent (10-12 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In another saucepan, mix coconut milk and brown sugar over low heat until dissolved.
  3. Combine cooled sago pearls with diced mango in a bowl. Pour in the coconut sauce and gently mix.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  5. Serve chilled, garnished with extra mango if desired.
