Description

  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 3 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper; place in a slow cooker with a splash of water. Cook on low for about 8 hours until tender.
  3. Shred the cooked pork using two forks. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and spread yellow mustard on each bottom half.
  4. Layer shredded pork on the buns, followed by Swiss cheese slices and dill pickles. Replace the tops of the slider buns.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic powder; brush over the assembled sliders.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
