- 12 slider buns
- 2 lbs pork shoulder
- 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper; place in a slow cooker with a splash of water. Cook on low for about 8 hours until tender.
- Shred the cooked pork using two forks. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and spread yellow mustard on each bottom half.
- Layer shredded pork on the buns, followed by Swiss cheese slices and dill pickles. Replace the tops of the slider buns.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder; brush over the assembled sliders.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
