Description

One Pot Spaghetti is a delightful, time-saving dish that marries tender pasta with a savory sauce, all in one pot. Ideal for busy weeknights, this recipe is both quick and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dry spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes in juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add canned tomatoes with their juice and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in uncooked spaghetti, covering it with enough water or broth to submerge by an inch.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until spaghetti is al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
