  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, washed and dried
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and granulated sugar. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press half of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread fresh cranberries over the dough and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  5. Crumble the remaining dough on top of the cranberries.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
