  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Dice chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic.
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente, reserving one cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté the chicken until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir for about one minute until fragrant.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the chicken mixture, adding soy sauce and a splash of reserved pasta water; toss to coat.
  6. Stir in remaining butter and top with grated Parmesan before serving.
