  • 8 oz Korean Glass Noodles (dangmyeon)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup protein (chicken, beef, or tofu), cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Soak the Korean glass noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes until soft. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add your choice of protein and cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in bell peppers, carrots, and onions; sauté for another 5 minutes until veggies are tender but crisp.
  5. Add soaked noodles along with soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar; toss well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 3 minutes to meld flavors. Serve hot.
