  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (mix of colors)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Add chopped onions and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and bell peppers; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Layer half of the beef mixture in the prepared dish. Top with half of the cheese. Repeat layers with remaining beef and cheese.
