  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes), then remove from pot.
  2. In the same pot, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
  3. Add pasta, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
