  • 14 oz firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  4. Toss tofu cubes in the marinade until evenly coated; let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Spread marinated tofu on a lined baking sheet; bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  6. Drizzle remaining marinade over baked tofu before serving. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds as desired.
