  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing the chicken into bite-sized pieces and chopping the garlic, onions, bell pepper, and basil.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté garlic and onions for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken pieces to the pan. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in bell pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes (if using). Cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Toss in Thai basil just before serving to infuse fresh flavor. Serve over rice or noodles.
