  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and boil water in a large pot.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the filling on each noodle and roll tightly.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish, place roll-ups seam-side down, top with remaining marinara and mozzarella.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes to brown the cheese.
